Arizona Bridge to Independent Living (ABIL), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is Arizona’s largest center for independent living. ABIL offers and promotes programs designed to empower people with disabilities.

Construction on the Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities. began in early June 2010 and is anticipated to be complete in the fall of 2011. The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center was April 20, 2010.
ABIL is very excited to announce that we broke ground for the Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities. The center will be located on the grounds adjacent to the Disability Empowerment Center at 5025 E. Washington Street. You can view photos of the groundbreaking in the slideshow above.
